The Lexington Ballet

Pointe Shoe Project

The Lexington Ballet's Pointe Shoe Project involves taking the dancers "broken" pointe shoes and decorating them. The decorated shoes are then sold prior to ballet performances to the public. The money made from the sale of the shoe goes back to the dancer, to help defray the cost of new shoes.

We are very proud to be one of just two schools which help decorate these shoes.
